A recent study published in the dental research journal "Compendium" finds that toothpastes containing STANNOUS FLUORIDE "can yield less bleeding in the gums and therefore reduce the risk of progressive periodontal disease". Most toothpaste contains fluoride, but not all fluoride is the same. If you are experiencing bleeding in your gums, see your dentist immediately as it could be a sign of more concerning dental or health problems.
